&Torn Rotator cuff=Rotator cuff pathology is the most common condition of the shoulder for which patients seek treatment. Pain and weakness may be the presenting complaints of the patient with rotator cuff tear. Classically, rotator cuff tears are associated with pain. Pain is said to develop over the lateral deltoid and is exacerbated by overhead activities and at night (possibly when the patients lies on the shoulder). Weakness is another frequently cited symptom of rotator cuff tears and in full thickness tears represents an integral part of the diagnosis.
