&Generalized Osteoarthritis=The common presentation of generalized OA is that of asymmetric polyarthritis involving the apophyseal joints of the cervical and lumbar spine, the interphalangeal joints, CMC joints, first MTP, knee and hip.  It is frequently associated with Heberden's nodes, which is bony hypertrophy of the DIP joints.
